Digital records are increasingly nested data sets, which must be understood as an articulation of several files that represent its various aspects. Their contextualisation requires the development of a knowledge network that will increasingly fall under the responsibility of archives, so as to spare the resources of clients and research teams. The historians of the future may be less interested in the content of our exchanges than in the way we structure them.
